This is a portion guide for single tiers of cakes. For a cake with composite tiers just add the ones you want together! Portion size is based on a dessert portion, if it for a treat size portion double the servings! The eating guide is based on a 4 inch high cake which is standard but can be changed on demand. For novelty cakes the same rules apply, pick the amount of mouths to feed and the cake will be made based on that size.
